498 bare engine

The Xinchai 498 bare engine (long block) is a cost-effective solution designed specifically for aftermarket overhauls and core component replacement in 2 to 3.5-ton internal combustion forklifts. The bare engine comprises the core foundation of the engine, including the cylinder block, cylinder head, crankshaft, connecting rods, piston assembly, and valvetrain. However, it typically excludes external accessories such as the alternator, starter motor, radiator, flywheel, and fuel injection pump. For forklifts where the peripheral accessories remain in good condition but the engine internals have suffered severe wear or failure, replacing the bare engine perfectly restores power and reliability while significantly reducing repair time and overhaul costs.
